They are compatible with a range of Tohatsu and Nissan boat engines, including:

- 40 HP, from 1984
- MFS 40 HP, 2015 to present
- 50 HP (except 50C), from 1992
- MFS60A, 2019 to present
- BFT60 / BFT60A, 2014 to present
