121 years old!!! There are no chips! There is some paint loss as you can see in the photos. I wanted to bring some close-up photos so you could see the embossed detailing around the rim. Lovely orange pansy pattern would make a beautiful flower vase. It has crazing and staining on the inside. The "Gold Medal St. Louis Minerva" marking refers to a line of semi-porcelain dinnerware made by Edward J. Owen, who won a gold medal at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair for his domestic semi-porcelain. The mark "Gold Medal" on these pieces signifies this award. "Minerva" is the pattern name for this line of china. The factory for Owen's china was located in Ohio and operated from 1902 to 1932. The item in the image, labeled "GRACE JUG", appears to be part of this collection.
