The Kenmore ‘Long Shuttle’ is an Antique Electric Sewing Machine. It’s Black, Cast Iron body is seated in its Original Dark Wood Base.
Motor still works, wheel still cranks, needle still goes up and down. Its classic foot pedal is still in excellent condition and just about everything seems to operate as expected.
The catch? Well, there appears to be a few miscellaneous machine parts that are missing. I’m guessing a piece of the control arm and maybe a something that attaches to the bobbin threader. This was handed down to me, and it’s heavy duty case hasn’t been unlocked and cracked opened in decades.
From my understanding, this was purchased from a Sears catalog around 1936 and I’m blown away by its condition.
I’m sure this baby is worth more than I’m letting it go for, because I see these online going for about the 1.5k mark as decor only pieces. But I know it’s not a full-complete, and heck, it’s the holidays. Hope it goes to someone who’ll find her missing puzzle pieces.u
