Los Angeles, California was host to the 1932 Olympic Games from July 30 to August 14. This print, frame included, measures 9 1/2” by 11 1/2”.
In 1932, Hernando Gonzallo Villa did this poster for the
Santa Fe Railroad, to advertise transportation to the Olympics, which took place in Los Angeles that year. The poster simultaneously reminded people that the Santa Fe went to Los Angeles and that they could take an “Indian detour” and visit the Grand Canyon on their way there.
The frame came with the poster so it’s old. The poster is in very good condition as it’s been in the frame.
