I hate to do it, but selling my project frame from the last 3/4 years; a 1991 diamondback showtime freestyle BMX frame that features a full 4130 chromoly steel tubing & fittings.
Only sold by Diamondback in 1991 & 92; the showtime was the mid range freestyle model offered those years, & differed only from is senior model, the tail whip, in missing a built in bash guard.
20.5” top tube length.
Features a slew of unique geometry that was only available in the early 90’s; rear dropouts w/ threaded peg holes, 3x brake cable guides along top tube, reinforced head tube gusset plate.
Includes an early 90’s chrome db seat clamp, ano gold fluted 22.2 seat post, & an early 90’s db padded seat.
This model is one of the hardest to find today as less than 5000 were sold nationwide during their production years. Only 1x is featured on BMX museum & even less are found in past sales…
Frame is very clean overall. Had a small crack near the head tube gusset that was repaired with a clean TiG weld
