What to do with the monkey the sailor sold Mr. Davis at his pet shop? Mr. Davis had a good solution. We'll just keep "Maggie," the chimp, in our apartment until the zoo can take over.
There are endearing to high anxiety moments during "Maggie's" stay with the Davis family. Young Tom and Peg Davis, even after they've learned a lot more about good house habits, are sorry to see her go.
Charlotte Becker's entertaining book about a baby chimpanzee enlightening the life of an urban family is a must read for a child wanting a good laugh and quick joy. 64pp.
Paperback with staple binding is as new. Interior is tight, clean and unmarked. Even though pages are turning brown (after all, it is over 50 years old) we rate the condition "As New."
