Wall scones.
DESCRIPTION
Your scones, judging from the pictures are made in the first half of the 20th century. The design is inspired by a 18th century model that was common in Europe and usually made of brass or bronze. Wall scones are very decorative and create a fine atmosphere, so if you have plans to sell them I believe you will have no problem.

Wall sconce is a very old form of lighting, the early ones were used with different kinds of oils and later with candles and gas. They could provide general lighting in rooms, corridors, hallways and on outside walls. The light of the candle flame was often intensified by a reflecting backplate, but it also made it a bit more safe. Later came wall scones with cut glass to spread the light
