This dress is very special to me. It was completely handmade & hand sewn by my mother in the 50’s
I have had it stored in a trunk for decades. I wore it once in the early 80’s. It is form fitting. May be the only time it was ever worn. Add some vintage jewelry & slender black belt for a sophisticated polish look of the 50’s

It features inside pockets on both sides
It has a pleat along the front just past the buttons also has a pleat on the back bottom
Buttons open up front from neckline to about top of thigh
The material is a lightweight percale maybe, very soft
The color is black & cream
The collar area may or may not be yellow. I don’t know if cleaned, it will change. I would suggest it to be professionally cleaned & pressed
As I was folding to put away, I noticed a tiny spot on bottom back hem line area. It does not go all the way through the material.
