On first wear: a clean, slightly aromatic opening from lavender with the pop of iris starting to show. That powdery floral quality from the iris is quite prominent.
• As it develops: the iris moves to centre stage – expect a refined, almost “powdery makeup” type floral (in the nicest sense) combined with warm woods (cedar, vetiver) and a soft vanilla or gourmand hint.
• Dry down: the wood + vanilla stay; it’s classy, slightly sweet but not overly gourmand; more elegant than loud. One reviewer put it nicely:
