This is an Edo Komon (small pattern) kimono fabric with a red-purple base and a "mansuji" (thousand stripes) pattern.
It's a high-class "mansuji" pattern, one of the "Komon Sanyaku" or "Komon Goyaku" patterns within Edo Komon.
Width: Approximately 36.5cm
Length: Not measured, but I believe it's the standard length for a kimono.
Material: Silk
I loved this and bought it, but as I have accumulated more fabrics, I've given up on having it made into a kimono, so I'm putting it up for sale.
It's new and unused, but it has been stored at home.
