A handwritten practice copy of the Jōruri text from the late Edo period:
"Kokusenya Kassen" (The Battles of Coxinga).

This is a masterpiece by Chikamatsu Monzaemon,
a famous play depicting the loyalty of Watōnai (Koxinga),
which was widely performed from the Edo period to the Meiji era.

This book is a handwritten copy in ink,
with a flowing script of kana-mixed text,
and some annotations in red.
A brown title slip is pasted on the cover,
preserving the original format with "Kokusenya Kassen" clearly written.

The paper quality and calligraphy have a historical feel,
making it a recommended item for classical performing arts materials, research on Japanese books,
and interior display.

There are age-related damages such as tears, insect damage, scratches, and wrinkles,
but the text is in a readable condition.
Sold as is, for those who understand it as a used book.
