This Franklin Mint Vintage Cutty Sark Anniversary Brass Maritime Sextant is a unique and nautical-themed decorative collectible. Made of brass with black color accent and a wooden handle, this commemorative piece measures 5.75 inches in length and 6.5 inches in width. With a depth of 3.75 inches including the handle, this vintage collectible weighs 15.2 ounces and was manufactured in China during the 1990s.
This maritime sextant is certified by the National Maritime Historical Society and was offered by the Franklin Mint. It is one of a number of replicated nautical items produced to commemorate the then anniversary of the iconic clipper ship, the Cutty Sark.
Overall, the sextant is in good condition. While there are no scratches, chips or marks on it, the two sets of filters were glued on as they had broken off, so they no longer move. There is no stand. Please refer to the photos for a complete viewing of the sextant.
