Hand-painted copy of Bruno Liljefors’ 1884 Jeppe Cat in the Garden, oil painting

This is a 7 x 5 inches copy of a famous 1884 painting by a Swedish artist Bruno Andreas Liljefors. It is painted in oils on a canvas board. This little painting shows how I make a custom oil painting from a photo. There is very little difference between the original painting and my copy of it. Sometimes I do not strive for literal perfection but rather make an interpretation of a photograph in oil paint on canvas.

This image depicts a beautiful outdoor scene of nature and summer. In the foreground, there is lush green grass that stretches out for miles and is dotted with colorful flowers in shades of yellow, pink, and purple. The sun is shining brightly on the landscape, creating an idyllic atmosphere.
