  These Japanese bypass pruners have a special compound-action mechanism that will increase the cutting leverage & power while reducing hand fatigue when used. It has a greater cutting capacity for it's size of pruner. The blades of this bypass pruner are hardened Japanese carbon steel blades that are heat treated for optimum sharpness & toughness. The upper blade is precision ground to give a sharp cutting edge that won't crush delicate stems. The blade also has a telfon coating for non-gumming effects as well. The hex center-nut allows for precise & easy alignment of the cutting blade & anvil, giving the pruners clean & accurate cuts. The handles are soft & lightweight in order to reduce fatigue.
