Based on a sharp physical sense and unique thinking, the artist creates works using various expression techniques such as photography, flat surfaces, and installations.

He gained attention after being invited to exhibit in the "legendary exhibition" planned by Yusuke Nakahara, "The 10th Japan International Art Exhibition: Man and Matter," and received high praise overseas the following year for his participation in the "7th Paris Youth Biennale."

In addition to his artistic activities, he taught at Tokyo Zokei University and Tokyo University of the Arts, leaving behind an excellent educational record.
(After his death, a group exhibition was also held by many artists who studied under Kojin Enokura)

He passed away at the young age of 52 in May 1995, while in the prime of his career as an artist.
This exhibition is Kojin Enokura's first large-scale retrospective in 10 years.

In recent years, he has been re-evaluated mainly overseas, and his works are traded at high prices in the market.
