In the countryside of Bavaria in the early part of this century, a charming bunch of children were born who’ve been delighting the world for decades. They are the children of M.I. HUMMEL, sketched by Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel and beloved for their gentle representation of childhood. Some of the most adored M.I. HUMMEL motifs have been transformed into exquisite porcelain dolls.
This porcelain doll is an authentic “M.I. HUMMEL” collectible translated from two-dimensional art of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel by Goebel. It is hand painted according to the traditions of artistic excellence established by Goebel more than a century ago. “Birthday Serenade” stands approximately 15” tall. His accordion has been replaced by a real vintage 8" Emenee Working Accordian! No box included.
