This unique handcrafted gourd is a beautiful representation of Native American culture. The intricate petroglyph design is sure to impress anyone who sees it. This gourd was created in Sand Islant Utah and represents the Ancient Petroglyphs found in that area.
Ute, Paiute, Goshute, Shoshone and Navajo, are the tribes that lived in this area. The petroglphs in the area range from 300 to 3000 yeaars old. The petroglyphs on this gourd are based off of these local historical cave paintings. This gourd was created by local tribal artisans still living in the area. Probably sold as a souvenir of the site.
