Pair of handmade Yemeni (Arabian Peninsula) silver necklace end cones. These were traditionally used as terminal caps for multi-strand bead or chain necklaces, gathering the strands neatly and finishing the ends. Each features a ribbed bulb design with a suspension loop for attaching a clasp or connector.
• Origin: Yemen / Arabian Peninsula
• Type: Silver end cones / necklace terminals
• Material: Silver (low-grade tribal silver, typical of the region)
• Size: 1.25” long each
• Weight: 7 grams total (both pieces)
• Condition: Cleaned but showing natural wear; side loops intact; minor irregularities consistent with handmade tribal work. I cleaned them too well and removed some of the patina
• Age: Likely early to mid-20th century, possibly late 19th.:(
These are genuine traditional components, not modern reproductions — ideal for collectors, jewelry designers, or restoration of antique Bedouin
