Rare 1950 Hiroshima survivor story written by Rev. Bunura Kimura. There are 2 documents: “The Atom Bomb and My Personal Experience Sermon”, it has 3-1/2 pages. 2nd document “Prayer for World Peace” consists of 1-1/2 pages. You can read the first two pages in the picture gallery. Rev Kimura delivered this message from an opening prayer invitation at the July 24, 1950 Congress of the Baptist World Alliance Conference in Cleveland, Ohio.
From Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum: Three books with Rev. Kumura's atomic bomb testimony and memoir. Earliest book published in 1983; speech in 1950. All written in Japanese, no English translation.
Unsure if this is the original document that he read from, but "Thank you" appearing at the end makes sense if he read from it verbatim. Not a Xerox copy in my opinion.
Condition: All pages in very good or better condition. Very light paper browning indicative of appropriate age wear right down to the staple like other documents I have of this era.
