This striking and RARE rainbow kaftan dress is in beautiful vintage condition! Please read all details carefully. Bust, waist, and hips all measure 20.5” across, the length is 51.5”. The sleeves are 8” wide by 10” long, the button panel is 17.5” long, the bottom panel (horizontal stripes) is also 17.5” long and has 2 slits. There are pockets on each side, lined with green fabric; the collar and bottom panel are also lined, the rest has no lining. The 6 buttons are brass-colored.
It’s a Joseph Magnin, originally sold in their trendy high-end department store of years gone by. The brand is Whims of Ca., made by Rough Rider Int. of Napa. Fabric content unknown but is non-stretchy and cotton-like; DRY CLEAN ONLY.
I’ve taken photos of some inner seams as well as closeups of some minor spots/stains, the most notable being on the right sleeve; I haven’t tried taking them out myself but a dry cleaner may be able to help.
