This is a very rare military case/box that held communications equipment. Telegraph Terminal Group TH-15/T. My brief research indicates it may be from 1950s to 1960s. See the last picture. The box is large: 20.5" wide, 16.5" deep, and 18" high. It's all steel and has some weight to it. There are 10 latches to attach the lid. 2 of the latches are broken, one on each side of the box. 8 remaining latches are more than enough to keep the lid firmly attached. This box came to me with a large purchase of audio cables that were inside. I used it to carry cables for about 25 years. There are 4 springs inside in each corner that probably attached to the original equipment that the box carried. Please message me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
