The ultra coveted Leica IIIc stepper “Red curtain”
No take up spool currently
Will include a Leitz synchronblitzer Flash unit as well !!
Serial number 366501 from 1940 making this a true WWII camera
Original red curtain and black curtain , the black curtain has bled onto the red curtain as per usual with original red curtain cameras
Shutter speeds from about 1/10-1/1000 work great as well as bulb mode, slower shutter speeds are inconsistent so a CLA is recommended if you want to shoot with it since it’s got OG curtains
This one has been wrapped with a modern leatherette due to the vulcanite being torn to pieces
This little fella also has a special shutter collar extension piece !! A historical piece and one with tons of potential
During my cosmetic cleanup I didn’t want to clean up the body patina too much so the top piece and little bits around the body have beautiful unique wear and hints of brass (:
