Rose Gold, Pink Glass Flower Resin Art

This stunning, flirty, and girlie piece is made on a 14"x14"x1.5" birch wood panel with a total of 3 layers of epoxy resin.
The first layer is a rose gold paste mixed with art resin.  The second layer is rose gold mixed with pale gold paste for added highlights and a transparent white to create a subtle lacing effect for the perfect rich, metallic background. 

I used recycled glass pieces and sheets of clear glass, and some pink/white marbled glass to create the flower petals, glass rods make up the stems.  They're different colors but go perfectly with the background.  There's a light opaque lavender stem, transparent pale yellow tinted stem, transparent amethyst stem.   Then crushed glass that is tinted with a soft transparent pink for the "rocks or grass". 

Depending on where you put this piece, on the wall, a shelf, you'll see how the light will hit different angles which accentuate the many different metallics.
