A bronze commemorative medal issued by the Department of the Treasury to honor the official opening of the new United States Mint facility in Philadelphia on August 14, 1969. This medal is in a 1st day cover like envelope. 2 6cent stamps and a cancellation mark from the Philly post office. The most important parts are the autographs. A pen auto on the front of Philip E. Fowler. On the rear of the envelope there is a pen auto of Edgar Z. Steever. Both of these men were sculpture/ engraver & designers of U.S. currency.
Envelope does have rounded corners. Left bottom corner has a fold hole? Don't know any other way to describe it. Autographs are beautiful. Will be shipped in cardboard and bubble wrap/mailer
