This vintage Marwal Industries chalk ware busts of Spanish greats. Both are quite large, heavy and very statuesque. The statues have a black felt bottom which is still in place. (See NOTE below about Marwal. These busts are circa 1950.)

Copper bronze paint glaze finish
This statue base on the back side is Marked Marwal Ind. Inc. and is very legible.
In very nice vintage condition with the original paint/finish. No chips or cracks. Overall, this bust has very light wear on this mid century piece.
Each measures approx. 13" high. Base is about 8.5" by 5.5".
Marwal Industries Inc. created plaster figures and busts in Miami from around the 1940s to the 1960s
