The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R8 4212 is designed to protect the camera and attach accessories. Locking the camera via one bottom 1/4 "-20 screw and two side lock adapters, the cage comes with rubber pads that prevent scratches and gives full access to buttons, card slots, flip screen, and battery door.
Among its accessory mounts, 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes support Top Handle 3765, Side Handle 2093C, Monitor Mount 2903B, and Magic Arm 3875; The top cold shoe mount attaches Microphone 3468, LED Video Light 3286B; and the left NATO rail fits Rotating Side Handle 3260 & 3813.
Also, there is a QD socket for a quick-release shoulder strap buckle and a bottom Arca-Swiss quick-release plate for an Arca-type tripod or DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbal for a quick switch between gimbal, handheld and tripod shooting. A screwdriver is included for easy assembly and disassembly.
