Ok here's the story - this is a vintage piece that came from my old Excalibur line - at least 30 years old. The chain is a 24" Italian box chain. Could use a rub. The pendant - please do not buy it because it may or may not be sterling. The bail is large enough to accommodate a small to larger chain. There is a stamp on the bail that states 18K GF XP . Clearly not gold so have to think it was cast from a gold piece in the mold. XP I assume stand for extra plate. Tested it with a strong magnet. Does not stick so it might be sterling. Here's what I do know it's a pretty piece. The star measures 1.5" across and down - the triangle zircon aquamarine stones are prong set and secure. The center zircon measures 5/8". All stones are pristine - this piece was never worn and is in mint condition. The pendant weighs 14 grams so it's not a flimsy thing. Buy it because you love it - or maybe your an Aries
