Rising out of the social and political tumult of the early 60's, the Clancy Brothers Tom, Patrick, Paddy and Liam, along with musical partner Tommy Makem, drew from the same melting pot as fellow folk pioneers, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Dave Van Ronk and Odetta. Dressed in trademark Aran sweaters, the group were master interpreters of the genre, crafting their own boisterously spirited brand of folk music.
