the picture at the end is for illustration purposes only, which is the closest example for the marble for sale i could find. now if you check ebay for vitro opal examples they look nothing like the marbles in the pictures, because they are not vitro opals, they are vitro opal "patches" which this one is not a patch but a stright vitro opal of which i could find only one example. lovely how you can see the glaze crackle but the base glass is wet mint, indication of the marbles age ...
