These are from various automated coin counting machines on the East coast. These are the “reject” coins, coins that the machines have rejected for various common reasons. Common reasons for rejected coins include: damaged coins, silver coins, gold coins, bi-metal coins, coins with dirt or debris, bent coins, world coins, older coins not recognized by the machine, or machine errors, such as jams or sensor issues.
