This upcycled jean jacket is a women's size medium. It comes up higher in the back and has slightly longer sleeves. The jean portion of the jacket is a stretch denim, and fits like a 6-10 (ish) medium to me.
The upcycled American Girl Charlotte shirt that was affixed to the jacket is a thick cotton knit fabric. It was in "Like New" condition when found.
I secured the shirt to the jacket with an interfacing, and then sewed around the shirt after. For decorative purposes, I added a white sashiko-inspired running stitch around the shirt.
The bag is washable. Wash on delicate with cold water and with like items; hang or lay on a drying rack to dry. This will help to prolong the jacket's life. Note: I used to wash my own denim jacket weekly until I was informed by multiple people that denim is not meant to be washed that frequently. My recommendation is to wash with the frequency that you would with most jackets.
