Vintage 1700s Di Alpo Red Glass Trade Bead Necklace 22" 6-Strand Rope Tied

Exceptional 6-strand antique trade bead necklace featuring early red glass beads attributed to the Di Alpo (Venetian) style, dating to the 1700s–1800s. These handcrafted glass beads were traded extensively with Native American tribes and across Africa during the height of the European bead trade.

The necklace measures approximately 22 inches long and is hand-strung on natural rope fiber, tied in a traditional style. Beads display deep crimson and coral tones with subtle variation, typical of early Venetian production.

Because of its age, the piece may require restringing onto a more durable cord if intended for regular wear, and a clasp may need to be added for closure. As currently tied, it is best suited for display or light ceremonial use.

Good antique condition consistent with age. Beads show natural surface wear and minor irregularities typical of hand-formed glass. Rope is intact but aged, showing light fray at ends. Sold as found; no repairs have been made.
