This Vintage 1900s Lambrecht Stoneware Farmhouse Butter Crock is a charming piece of Americana aesthetics from New Jersey. In 1910 John Lambrecht started Lambrecht’s Creamery in Milwaukee. The company grew quickly, expanding to Chicago, then to New York and New Jersey. Lambrecht’s Creamery went out of business during WW II, when rationing made it hard to stay in business. So, this crock is from the late 1930s to early 40s. As you can see from the photo, this advertising crock is in excellent condition and has survived well over its 80+ years!
