Sophisticated chic early 1960's Dweigler Modelle sheath evening dress, wool crepe accented with sequins & glass beads just below the folded boat collar. Rare find with the Dweigler tag, a German designer label from that era which is very hard to come by these days, especially in such great condition! Flattering boat neckline, fitted, falls to a bit above the knee. Gathers under the collar, darts at the bust, princess seams for a streamlined fit that hugs your curves perfectly to give it a wiggle dress vibe. Fastens at the back with a covered metal zip. Beautifully well made, elegant & sophisticated with a lovely silhouette.
Fully lined inside AND lining is hemmed in lace, such a beautiful touch! Everything about this piece screams perfect craftsmanship! Miraculously, only one missing sequin, at back of collar.
