-Box of "wide mouth" -contains 8
-Last Ball box (older packaging) -contains 6 with the "tab" and 7 with no tab, just round rings.

These specific designs of jar rubbers were used with older style glass canning jars that featured glass lids and wire bail closures, or zinc caps.
The "Good Luck" logo version was used by the Ball company between approximately 1933 and 1962.
The split tabs on the rubbers were included to help easily break the seal of the jar.
Ball discontinued this style of jar sealing decades ago in favor of the modern two-piece metal lid system.
