Capture American wildlife with this vintage bison sculpture by renowned artist Bob Haynes. Signed 1976, this handcrafted piece is cast in bronze and mounted on a wooden base, originally gifted as a pen holder, says the original owner. A perfect addition to any collection of Western plains decor.
Bob Haynes was a painter and sculptor of wildlife and Colorado scenes. He was born in Kit Carson County, Colorado. He entered the U.S. Army then attended the Colorado Institute of Art. He worked as a commercial artist throughout his life, including in the Graphics Department of the United States Air Force Academy. He retired in 1996.
