Vintage Earrings Designer M Baer Metalware Chinese Coin Charms Bronze

These earrings are vintage jewelry incorporating an antique Chinese coin with assorted charms. Made by designer Marjorie Baer - a modernist pair of earrings with mixed metals.
The central element is a Chinese cash coin mounted on a large, flat, circular piece of material, possibly jade or a similar stone.
The coin features Chinese characters and a square hole in the center, a traditional design where the round shape represented heaven and the square hole represented the Earth.
They include several dangling gold-toned charms, such as the number '5' and an intricate geometric design. This pair has an almost mystical design. There are 3 distinct metals, a golden or brass, a silvery and a coppery metal. The bottom panel has the 3 of the layered in different geometric shapes. The top panel has a raised triangle They are each marked on the back with the makers mark BAER SF & copyright symbol. Measure 1 1/2" x 7/8" and weigh 19.3 grams.
