This striking hand-crafted raku pottery bowl by California artist Jeremy Diller features a bold triple Kokopelli design against a smoky green and copper-toned glaze. Each piece in Diller’s raku line is individually fired and signed, making every example a one-of-a-kind work of art.
The Kokopelli motif — an ancient symbol of joy, music, and fertility — is a hallmark of Diller’s Southwestern-inspired series from the 1990s to early 2000s, produced through his Raku Potteryworks studio.
The underside bears Diller’s hand-painted gold “J. Diller” signature, used before he transitioned to stamped logos in later collections. The traditional raku firing process creates unpredictable iridescence, crackling, and color shifts, giving this piece its unique, organic look.
