Beautiful vintage 30" strand of Venetian red glass trade beads, traditionally known as "Di Alpo" style. Each bead is handmade with slight size and shape variations, featuring a rich red enamel surface over a darker glass core. The strand is continuous with no clasp and displays the organic irregularity typical of authentic Venetian glasswork.
These beads were crafted mid-20th century in Italy for export, inspired by earlier trade beads popular among Native American artisans.
