This stunner of a vintage cocktail shirtwaist dress from the 50s is made of beautifully luminous purple & black silk shot taffeta! Unique features include the lovely olive tone lucite oversized rimmed buttons & delicate ruffle shawl collar. Also, the bodice has an unusual empire cut and looser structure. No tag, likely home sewn & beautifully constructed, just look at the lovely skirt pleats at the waist line, & the doubled darts at the bust. A one of a kind beauty!
