On offer is this wonderful work by NYC artist, Martha Murphy. This artist has mostly been known for their paintings of prominent NYC landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Chrysler Building, which have been made into popular posters. This piece features what appears to be a color study of squares on a square piece of canvas. It is marked 'Murphy 2004' on the lower right. Included with the piece is a handout which speaks of Martha's life, as an artist and prior. That piece of paper is signed by the artist. This work is in a plastic frame and most definitely deserves a frame upgrade, in our opinion. In very good vintage preowned condition with some signs of use and time.
