Splendid, Celluloid, "Military Buddy", WWII US Army Soldier, Sweetheart, Patriotic, Home Front, Articulated Brooch ~ BOOK PIECE.
Measuring 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" with a secure C-clasp.
Dressed in a U.S. Army Khaki Service Uniform with Garrison Cap, this 1940s figural soldier is composed of celluloid with hand-painted black, and flesh-colored enamel.
The arms and legs, attached by celluloid rings, dangle and move with every motion.
With his dimensional Garrison Cap cocked over one eye, this WWII US Army Soldier shows attitude!
During WWII these brooches were worn to show support for a friend or loved one in the US Army Branch of Service.
Excellent condition. May need a quick swipe with a damp cloth.
